Non Functioning Fuel Guage 1992 245 and Cibie headlights

If it's not one thing, it is another. My daughter's car is going in for a new fuel pump this week; tonight she informed me that the fuel guage has stopped working. The little lever you push to reset the trip counter has also come unattached so it means watching the mileage on the mileometer to keep track of when to get gas. Is getting the fuel guage working again a simple fix, or a big ticket item?

When I have a month or so when I do not have maintenance/repair issues with both my old 240's I want to upgrade my headlights to Cibie so I can see at night! IPD does not carry the round 5-3/4" lights for the 1980, does anyone know of a good, reasonably priced source for these?

Thanks for reading, and for any input.
