Engine misfire under light load 200 1991

This just started: An occasional, very quick misfire under partial load... for instance.. if i bring the revs up to say 2000 in neutral... there's a periodic random misfire.. say once every 5-10 seconds. I can also feel it when cruising under light load.. like a straightaway at 40. If I punch it, there's no misfire.

I'm not great at diagnosing misfire, but since it's such a quick stumble.. i'm thinking ignition not fuel. Or could it be water in the fuel? it's funny how it just started out of the blue. I'm going to get new plugs and fresh gas.. any ideas would be welcome. (has new cap, rotor, wires )
