ignition troubles 140-160 1973

I have a resolve to my ignition troubles, It was a combination of dirty connectors (both EFI and ignition), and after-market ignition parts causing this problem. After many-many adjustments (Dwell, advance, idle-air mixture, throttle position sensor, plugs were wrong resistance and part number, and fuel pressure) the car would keep a steady idle. We drained the fuel tank after discovering hard sediments in the fuel supply and of course the fuel filter was aftermarket(Fram) letting these hard particles pass. So the fuel tank was drained and a bosche fuel fiter installed. Now the car will accelerate and the fuel pressure steadily regulated(26-28psi).. Might to say this was not an easy fix and it was quite time consuming. Overall the advise from this web-board was greatly appreciated and helped a great deal in troubleshooting this problem ,, It was getting quite frustrating though, It seemed like everytime we looked deeper into a system, the more problems we found. It took alot of patience to get this project completed. Patience was the key. I have driven the car to work for two days now with no secondary problems.
