89 740 Turbo questions for a new buyer! 700

I am thinking of buying a 89 740 Turbo sedan. Owned a 242GT years ago and loved the car and I need something to drive around town that has descent A/C. This car is in good condition and has 170k miles. Automatic with sunroof and leather interior.

Anyone have any comments on reliability of a 740 Turbo in this model year? Anything particular I should look out for? The rear end is a bit wet as is the rear of the motor or front of the tranny.

Hope the main seal on the motor is not gone but the rear end seals should not be that difficult to replace. Neither one would be that bad around town and I do not plan on taking long trips in the car but it needs to be reliable.

Just looking for a driver and not a hot rod or show car and would appreciate hearing from some people who have lived with their 740 for a while.
