Rear end 'whine' between 60-65 mph 200 1982

'82 240 w/ 135k. I am getting a rather loud whine in 3-5 mph band between 60 and 65 mph. It seem that it is coming from the rear end. It is not really a vibration, just a noise, it almost makes it difficult to talk inside the car. What are the possibilities? Tires, wheel balance, bearings, other???
