Removing driver-side door panel 200

My front door speaker is completely dead, probably due to loose wiring. I will need to remove the door panel to get at it, as there is no other way to do it. Is this task a big and difficult job? I'm also going to change my stock Alpine head unit which is really crappy (cassette mechanism broke, only works in radio mode), especially with one speaker! My sister is going to give me a Toyota CD head unit, and I want to put it in my beloved 245. I've never installed a radio before, and I want to know if a neophyte like myself can go about installing a Toyota CD player in a 1982 Volvo 245. I want to add two external speakers as well. Going back to the door panel, I also want to fix this annoying locking problem I have with the driver-side door. Everytime I close the door it locks itself, so I have to pull on the door lock to open the door. Where do I look when I take out the door panel, that's if I can actually do it, hehe. Thanks!
