Interesting 'old' transmission 444-544

In digging through my spares, I have come across an old 4-spd transmission from a 544; it appears to be a B18 unit, but what is different from any of the others I have seen (and they are numerous, having been a Volvo fanatic for years) is that the housing has "KOPING" cast into it, obviously a company name. Any of the units I have seen before had VOLVO and the part number cast in. Can anybody shed some light on this transmission? Is it an early B18 unit? As it stands, it is surplus to me and will be sold. Maybe it will help somebody trying to re-create an original spec vehicle. I am assuming it is from a 544, but maybe it is from a 120/130. Any information is appreciated.
