Water pouring in from sunroof area (960 sedan) 900 1997

I just purchased a beautiful 960 sedan and during a heavy rain about a gallon of water accumulated in the headliner and made quite a mess. I tested the 2 drain holes in the front of the sunroof and they appear to be working properly. I'm fearing this will be an expensive job and that the headliner will have to be pulled to find the problem. Any suggestions?
