242 turbo/bigger main pump/elim in-tank pump? 200

Hey guys,
I was tired of dealing with fuel delivery issues on my modded 242 turbo so I purchased a T-Rex fuel pump from Vortech which is designed for super/turbocharged motors. It is rated at 50 gph @ 70 psi.Anyway when I installed it with my stock in-tank I hear the new pump "squeal" as if Im not getting fuel thru it and experiencing some serious cutout under boost.
After talking w/Vortech,realizing that the bigger main is flowing faster than the in-tank pump can produce. So rather than upgrading the in-tank,which could be expensive,Im going to eliminate the in-tank and see if it will flow right.I hate to give up the Vortech, but if I cant use it I may have to.
Anyone ever eliminate the in-tank pump? I know there is some engineering to be done with the tubing and sock in-tank.
Thanks
RR
