Annoying Rattling...from brake calipers?? 700 1989

OK..here's where I think the 200 series were better designed than the 700 series. On the 200's the 4 piston Girlings are so reliable and trustworthy, but the double piston "budget" calipers of the 700 series are less than up to par.
I have an annoying rattle that occurs whenever the car goes over a small imperfection on the road surface but stops rattling when the brakes are applied and the car goes over the same bumps. I've got new KYB strut inserts, new ball joints, steering rod ends, urathane bushings,PBR pads and even new 1-piece hubs, and the rattling continues.
If I replaced the brake hardware would it help? Or do I have to replace the entire caliper?
Thanks, g.Lo.
