motor mounts 700 1992

while the car is in 'D' and idling, I feel moderate vebration from the engine. If rpms are raised to 950 apx, it goes away.Engine is running fine. motor and trans mounts look ok. car has 148,000 mi. also, exhaust sys rubber hangers seem ok. I am considering replacing mounts; as far as I know mounts have never been replaced. I've had the car since 89,000. Belts oscilate at 2000 rpm and create some vibration, but I think that is a separate problem and a secondary issue; tighten and replacement hasn't helped. Motor mounts are hydralic and not cheap. What's your experience?
