stumbling jerky acceleration, what's going on? 200

I got into my 245ti this morning and started her right up, now when it gets a little chilly the car is kind of hesitant at first but qickly looses and coldness hesitation quickly as it warms up, today after sitting for three days as I accelerated it began to stumble, accelerate normally for a second or two, then stumble. I was driving in the city so there was a fair amount of stop and go, so plenty stumbling. At first I thought it may be an intercooler pipe has come loose. After I pulled over I inspected the hoses and found them all secure, I manually revved the engine while I had the hood up without a load and it didn't stumble at all....? Any thoughts?
