What's Volvo's major malfunction...what are all these boxes boxes? 700

1988 Volvo 760 Turbo...

I've got three boxes in question. Well, two--I know the one on the passenger side behind the kick panel is the injection computer, since it's about the only Bosch part volvo bothered to label, with nice big "Jetronic" on it. But the two on the driver's side under the dash don't have any labels on them. One is metal, and the other is plastic. They're both fairly large in size similar to the injection computer and have similarly large connectors on them, so I'm assuming they're both computers.

What are they for? Thanks
-Matt
