Bad handling 1800 1964

I'll throw in another suggestion to put on a sway bar kit. An IPD kit really REALLY transformed the way my PV544 handles.

Shocks could be an issue too - when worn they let the car lean in further and quicker, and can make it feel loose on the highway as a result.

Most alignment places really won't do much more than adjsut the toe-in on an old car like the 1800. You will most likely have to search out an old-car or a Volvo specialty shop. The other shops just don't want to bother with unbolting things and messing around with shims.
