electric fan on GLE 700

i took an electric fan off a GLE today at the junkyard and i was wondering what amperage the fuse takes.

i tried to trace the wire back to the fusebox, but the GLEs have so muchelectronics on them and there were wires everywhere so i just said screw it. would this be a good fan to use to replace the engine driven fan on my 245? i assume it would be, but just in case someone has cautious words for me, they can be said now.

actually i do have one question about it. how do i rig up the fan to turn on once the engine has reached ideal temperature? i have a 78 245, so computer stuff isn't really in the picture.
