What's the noise made by a dying wiper motor? 200 1987

Grinding, crunching, crushing sound. You can take apart your motor, remove the rust and paint it up with rust paint and then re-epoxy the magnets in their original places and probably get a few more years out of the motor. I did this once. It takes a while to do all that, so if you are close to a cheap junkyard with late model parts, it is easier to swap in a motor from a newer car. For $50, I would probably do this if the motor was from a car several years younger and with significantly lower mileage than yours.
