Busted/Misaligned sunroof...Help! 700 1988

Hello,

The power sunroof on the '88 740 Ti I just bought is screwed up...I don't know how it happened, but the sunroof is sitting crooked in the opening. The rear corner on the driver's side is sticking up above the roof about 1". You can see daylight from inside the car. What could have caused this to happen? I'm thinking maybe the PO had a fit of road rage and punched the ceiling or something. Anyway I have a complete power sunroof sitting in my '89. Should I swap the whole thing over? Is there any Volvo manual that explains the sunroof guts in detail? I really have no clue how it all fits together so I'd like to read up as much as possible before I go tearing things apart.
