Torque Rod 200 1988

I was told by a local Volvo mechanic that I need torque rod bushings. So just where is the torque rod? Is it the big round bar that runs parallel to the axles on the back side of the differential? The sway bar - or what I think is the sway bar - is lower on the differential running pretty much parallel to the big round bar. Why are there 4 bushings if it only has 2 connect points? The diagram on FCP Grotons web site does not show this bar or it lists it as the sway bar.
I know someone that has a 20 ton press, so if I could identify the thing and can get past the rust, I should be able to do it. Famous last words.

Thanks.
