1981 brake rotor 200 1981

The car, 1981 245 DL assembled in Canada. The problem, warped rotor. The fix, new rotor. The problem, wrong rotor. So I took it back and said "no works" so they look up the number in 2 catalogs and on the computer and come up with the same part number as the rotor that won't fit. I went to another parts place, same same. So my question is "WTF is there a different rotor that these guys don't have on thier books that they put on some cars?" Any insight appreciated.
