Fuel Economy/Idle issues 200 1982

i'd second the pulling & cleaning the throttle body, the inside tends to get some oily gunk buildup over time from the pcv vent/flametrap. just make sure when you pull it to wipe it out w/ carb cleaner & a soft rag, don't spray near the little electrical idle switch, that could cause all sorts of problems. try cleaning up the top plate/fit around the amm & the belows between them while you're at it. the gasket is only worth a dollar & while you have it off, it's a good time to clean the flametrap.
let us know what you find.
