Speedometer removal? 200 1983

The thing you broke was a drive to a reminder light reset object. I broke mine off 15 years ago, no problem. Actually back then I also broke off the speedo ring and now all I do is align the speedo cable and slide it towards the speedo. Somehow mine has stayed connected a really long time and I live on the "Dirt Road from Hell". Repair the speedo and try the speedo cable minus connector ring if it breaks!! Later Gary
