P1300? 120-130

Hello all,

I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I have a '66 2-door 122 that I've been storing for the last few years. I started going through it last weekend, and I found an owner's manual with all kinds of vintage goodies in it. At any rate, its got the original dealer service book with the carbons in it, and it lists the model as a P1300. Also, I found the original temporary tag paperwork from 1965 and it lists the model as P1300 as well. Is this something odd? I've searched the 'net and only found a couple of pages that list P1300's and neither were in English or had more info on them. Between my dad and I we've got quite a few years wrenching and racing on 122/1800/544's and never heard of this.

Is this a run of the mill 122 2-door? What's with the P1300?

Any and all info will be greatly appreciated. Please email me at gilmore@eng.usf.edu as I don't check this board often, if you don't mind. Thanks!

Sean
