couple of 940 questions 900 1991

Hi all,

I've got two questions regarding my 940.

1. When the engine is cold there is a noticeable hesitation when I accelerate.
For example if I slow down to go around a sharp corner then go to accelerate the engine will stutter and hesitate for a couple of seconds then accelerate. It only does this a couple of times while cold then is OK. Could this be the ECT sensor I've heard so much about? Or is it something else?

2. The left hand front tyre has obviously been rubbing on the radius rod. There is a nice shiny area on the rod where it's been rubbing. I've also noticed when reversing and the steering is on a sharp lock there is distinct kick in the steering. Could this be a sign of worn bushes? or bad wheel alignment?

All thoughts and ideas are much appreciated.

Brad.
