Fuel Pressure Regulator '87 240 200 1987

All,

I want to replace the fuel pressure regulator in my '87 240. FCPGroton and AllOEM list the same part no (PN 0280160293).

However AllOEM also has the following note:

This pressure regulator (0 280 160 293) is the unit recommended as a replacement by the Volvo dealer and has superseded the regulator that Volvo originally installed on most of these models at the factory (1306965, 0 280
160 214). Some installers have reported lower than optimum fuel pressure with the replacement regulator and have preferred to install the original equipment version (which Bosch continues to manufacture) instead.

1) Anybody had this experience/know anything about this?
2) If so, where do you get original part?

TIA

Dave S.
