transmission differences 900

ok I noticed this the other day while in a few 940's. What are the different auto transmissions in them? I noteced that on one car the gear selector went PRND3L and on the other car the selector went PRND21?

AW70 3 spd + od non lockup torque converter
AW71 3 spd + od Lockup torque converter
ZF22 was this a true 4 spd transmission that's in the cars with the PRND32L gear selector?
