Ah I see! Still that isnt a bad price. If I were painting a car on my own it would cost me $200 for the paint approximately. I usually use 2 full quarts of paint that when catalyzed makes about 3 quarts. On a car the size of a Msutang you will have a small amount of paint left over (after 3 coats).
Usually it takes me about 15 hours prep and 3 to paint(if that much)! The Carpainters and places like that do ok paint jobs for $200 and they can do it because of economy of running a production like operation and run a car thru the shop in an hour or so. The jobs are not all that bad actually. Especially if you do a lot of prep work.
Good luck on your paint job. BTW what color is it going to be?
