auto tranny condition. 200

Hi, I hope someone can resolve this for me. I own a 90 240 w/ 130k and a 93 w/ 100k. Both have aw70 trannies and both cars are in excellent condition and have been well maintained. The 90 shifts perfectly (after I put a new kickdown cable in ) and is very smooth. There doesnt seem to be any slippage or slop. I believe car spent most of its life in mixed driving. The 93 on the other hand, is hard shifting in the sense that it is very positive and really firm. It feels like a performance trans but w/o the jolt. This car was mostly highway driven I believe (I bought it w/ 95k and whole car looked close to showroom. No wear on the seats, pedals, locks etc) Which is typical of this transmission? Is the 90 worn out or is the 93 really to explode. Any insight will be much appreciated.
