Windshield wiper is a no go... and any tips on replacing an oil pan 200 1983

Currently the windshield wipers in my 83' 242ti are not working, but the fuse is good and when I pull back the stock the squirters for the fluid work just fine.

The car had been sitting since november beacuse of an accident, and i just recently got it up and able to drive into my garage. The wiper motor is new (1yr old), but I still need to test the connections to check for voltage.

Thanks for any hints or ideas.

Zack

Silver 83' 242ti (almost back on the road again, after the oil pan is replaced.)

PS: I would appreciate any tips on replacing the oil pan as well. Mine was dented from the accident at the bottom by the drain plug. I read the info on the 700-900 faq about making a jig to hold the engine up, which seems like a good idea.
