Swapping 850T or 740T engine to a 240 (84) 200

The 740t engine is easy because the engine is nearly the same as the engine in the 84 240 volvo here is a site with lots of details on this conversion www.flash.net/~noseoil/Volvo%20245%20turbo.htm. The 850t conversion is a little more difficult to do the engine needs to be changed from east/west configuration
to north /south configuration. Then if you want a manual gear box you will need to import a M90 5 speed from Europe. If you want a auto the 960 auto will fit the 850 engine then there is the fuel system the wiring and a lot of fabrication
to fit. If you really want a late model engine the 960 engine might be a option these engine are auto only outside Europe.

PS the M90 gearbox comes from behind the 2.5L 960 in Europe.
