HI all.

Last night while driving on the x-way I was driving behind this truck when i decided to pass the truck so I press the button on the shifter and the arrow light came on but after passing the truck I went to press the button to disengage the overdrive (arrow light out) and it did not work.I mean the arrow light did not go out.I pressed the button a few time and finally it when out and the engine went to the next gear. Is there some type of shortage going on here? Also what type of trans is in my car? ('90 245) 4sp auto or 5sp auto? Thank you.
