15' tire size recomendations? 200 1993

Hi - I just put a set of 205/60R15's on 15x6 turbo wheels on my '93 245 - "upgrade" from 185R14's - and the difference is amazing! I feels like a whole new car - a lot of the poor handling characteristics I was writing off to body flex and worn suspension were really a function of the tall, skinny tires.

Anyhow... the tires that came with the wheels are pretty well shot - I'm going to replace them, but I'm stuck between 205/60R15 and 205/65R15. The ride with the 60's is noticeably more jolting than with the old tires, and I wonder if the 65's might be a more comfortable compromise? Plus, the 65's are significantly closer to the size of the original tires than the 60's, which are over 3% smaller than OE. But then again it seems like everyone with 15" wheels uses the 60's... is there a reason? Anyone have good things to say about the 65's?

Thanks!
