740SE is two things:

a] The last hurrah of the 700 series

b] A testbed for lots of 900 series parts. Look inside. Lots of stuff would show up over the years in the 900 series.

You get a 50/50 shot on finding one of these. One seller may be a Volvo nut who knows exactly what he has and another seller might be some used car lot who just thinks he has a garden-variety 740
