Radio CR-712 in 92 245 HELP!!! 200

Could someone help me with wiring a cr-712 in a 92 240 wagon?

Heres the deal...........I purchased a NOS Volvo EQ, my original TD622(?)
didn't have the DIN on the back for the eq so.....I bought a CR712 with the correct DIN jack for ther eq. I connect the original amp and eq(sound effector) and I only get the right channel, both front and back. If I turn up the left channel only you can hear very faint music but very faint. I assume the Left side is not blown on the head but I don't knb\ow for sure. It seem that when I hook up the + wire to the head unit it also powers the right channel spks only. Am I bypassing the amp?

As a test I put my old unit back in and it works fine on both sides. Also tested the Eq, its fine.

I have wiring diagrams that my Volvo dealer gave me, wires are different colors as are harness connectors.

I also put in new speakers but want to keep a Volvo stereo so I wont get broken on to. Been there done that.

I'm stumped , what do I do? will this even work in a 92? Any help is appreciated !!!
