960/S-90 Suspension mods and questions.... 900

Do any of you guys know whether using the OEM shocks on lowering/stiffer springs is harmful to the car? What about the drive shaft angle when a car is lowered, how is that affected?

I have found some H&R lowering springs from Sweden for the S-90/960. I was wondering if anybody has tried these out. I am looking to improve the handling of the car, I don't mind a slightly harsher ride. I have searched, but it seems that Bilstein and other aftermarket shock companies do not anything for this car.

Also will the 900 series braces fit the car? I have found the strut braces from many sources, but will these fit the S-90? I am under the impression that the 940 and S-90 are the same dimensionally from a chassis point of view.

Reason for the mods are for a more pleasent driving experience, and for auto-crossing. f you guys have not tried the later, it is a blast. The S-90 has power, but plows through the turns.

Thank you ina dvance for your time.

-Kelly
