Transmission problems 700 1989

I am bettng that it is you OD solinoid. To be sure, verify that the OD relay is working. If it clicks when you push the OD button the relay is most likely working. You should expose the relays to verify that you can hear the relay. I had the same thing happen to my 92'745 with 140k. The solinoid is pretty easy to change, the most difficult part is the little clip for the wire on the solinoid end (tight spot with poor visibilty).

Good luck!

Bill
