Towing 940T 900

I am planning on towing a folding camper this summer with a 93' 940T @ 108K miles. The camper will probably weight about 2800-2900 lbs fully loaded (has electric brakes) plus two adults and children in the car. Anybody had any experience towing this much before? The engine has always run on Mobil 1 and I plan on changing the differential lube to synthetic. I would like to change the transmission to synthetic but amd concerned about leaks this late in the game. What about an electric brake controller, any recommendations? BTW, I will be using one of the trialer hitches from IPD.
