Now I am curious. I have a CR-4173 radio, and a CR-712, both in a box someplace in Bob's Garage Volvo Parts Department. I wonder if their harness color coding is the same? The both can go into that 9-pin car-side connection.

Oh, maybe the gray wire is a dimmable panel light, but the 200 series doesn't support that.
