New Radiator install for 89 245, any advice? 200 1989

The plastic nipple for the upper hose on my 245 just broke off midway. I could just jam the hose up on what's left and tighten the hose clamp down, but don't want to take the chance with my wife and baby girl driving it.

I got a new Nissen 3 row radiator (all metal!), and will be installing it this weekend. I will replace hoses and coolant while I'm at it.

What else should I do while I have all that room to work in the front engine bay?

Is there a "long life" coolant that has proven to work particularly well in the 240? Are there any reasons not to use the orange-colored-type?

Thanks for the help,
Jon Morgan
