Power Steering Fix 93' 940T 900

FYI All:

If any of you have had shuddering in your power steering rack try draining your power steering system by loosening the lowest fitting on the rack and let the old fluid drain out. It helps to remove the reservoir cap to speed up the process. When it seems to be all drained jack up the front end and slowly work the steering whell lock to lock to remove additional fluid in the rack. Refill the system with good quality "clear" power steering fluid (get 2 bottles)not the typical ATF fluid which is listed in many of the ownwers manuals. You will need to slowly work the steering wheel lock to lock again to bleed the system when putting in the new fluid. Top off the ststem after bleeding and your good to go. I used STP power steering fluid and within two days the steering feels like new. Hope this helps.
