looking at 960/V90's

Don't be scared away from the 960/V90 series, there are some lemons, but I see a lot of them on the road here in the northeast and not many for sale!

It's true that there were block casting problems in the 95 (possibly early 96) model year, so you should avoid those. If I were looking, I'd try to find a '97 or '98 model with all the maintenance records (pref. dealer). As long as it hasn't had any major/recurring problems and all scheduled maintenance has been performed religiously, it should be a good car.
