fuel problem 200 1978

i have a '78 245.

on mid to high acceleration, the fuel system stumbles. it especialy stumbles right after hitting 3rd gear.
i also have a steady (it buzzes about once every second. buzzes, stops, buzzes, stops) buzzing sound coming from what seems the fuel pump at the rear, and one from inside the front (can't really tell where).

im going to try to do some checks soon, but im wondering if anyone has an idea on maybe what i should try first.

the fuel filter and (i think) the lines were replaced not too long ago. but i dont know if it was really fixed... the previous owner had it done by a dealer, but he said it was a "fix kit." could the filter be the culprit, and the 'fix kit' just doesnt last too long?
