Just for peace of mind ...I need a 91 940T owner ..please! 900

I have wrecked my beloved 91 940T, and am trying to determine what parts needed, and how extensive the damage.

It got my grille, lights, and hood ...pushing the radiator area back, not really getting the side fenders. It runs, although the fan is really close to the radiator.

Now my question. I am putting it back in park ...and, my ..this seems odd. I just don't recall the square knob shifter being that close to the ashtray. When in park, I can't slide my finger in the space between without hitting the ashtray.

Am I going looney, or has it always been that close?
