S80 transmission change procedure? 1999

Volvo notified me that I should go for their recommended tranny flush service,which says it involves changing the oil and adjusting the linkage. This is at 20,000 miles. I have 25,000 on the 99 S80 now.
I have changed oil on other automatic transmissions in the past and wondered if there was something special that hast to be done on the S80.
Usually just drain and fill is all I ever did in the past on other rigs.
Any comments?
