Try a 93-95 motor; they are usually a better bet. An 85 is the weakest of the B230s. Plenty of the weak ones have gone 250k miles, but why bother. The 85-88/89 motors are particularly known to throw rods (hole in the block). Even 89 to 92 may develop oval cylinder bores. Might cost more, but why run the risk? If it is low enough miles, you can just service it and drop it in. Plus with a turbo, you get the better manifold and more responsive turbo if you get a motor with all accessories.
