Blinking upshift light ... 700 1991

Had a weird one this morning ... upon making a U-turn, the Check Engine light came on and the upshift light started blinking ...

The codes came to a 1-2-1, AMM ... seems to just be the contacts. It's since been cleaned, reseted, so hopefully that solves that, but the upshift light blinking still puzzles me. It didn't stop as I parked in at work for the cooldown period.

During that time, it was in high idle, on its own, around 1500 rpm.
