91 740 boost question 700 1991

Go to dawesdevices.com. The 35.00 boost controller does wonders. It is a small valve that installs between the boost side of the turbo and the waste gate. It has a small bearing resting on a spring that closes the valve. As you adjust tension on the spring it allows you to control boost. It's advisable to get a calibrated boost gauge to monitor your adjustments. Sorry not to be able to give a more technical reply but my knowledge is limited in that area. Darren Dawes of Dawes Devices has been exceptionally helpful. He always replies to my email questions and the device works great. I'm running 13psi at this time and lovin' it.

Good luck ...........
Jim
