'88 745 GLE Handbrake adjustment - Brakes FAQ

I just replaced the "short" handbrake cable in my favorite brick. The Haynes manual says to adjust the cable to the correct number of clicks.

What is the correct number of clicks?

I cannot get into the brakes section - what am I doing wrong. I searched for "handbrake adjustment" then selected the link that looks appropriate - I get a message that the server cannot be found.

BTW I have developed a fix to replace the little hinged handbrake cable attachment to the rear axle. It is cheap, fast, easy, and stronger than stock.
