Strange Idle Problem When Cold 200 1987

Car would stall when stopped and idling. Turned out to be faulty spark plug wire. Put in new wires, cap, rotor, K&N air filter and NGK spark plugs. Cleaned out throttle body. Now, when engine is cold, it stalls unless pedal is pumped. Also, when warm, RPM cycles between 500 to 750. Wouldn't think we would need to adjust air/fuel mixture or idle on throttle body after parts we replaced. Anybody know whats going on?
Thanks in Advance
