780 glide pins 700

I have a 1989 volvo 780 and want to do a front brake job. My front brakes have that same pulling feeling that other people complain about since the 700 series only has the single piston calipers. I had done a brake job several years back..but still same problem then too. Does anyone change the glide pins, maybe they get slighty bent which would make the brake caliper non free floating..any ideas..thanks..Leo
oh yeah I am going to put ate powerbrake rotors and decent pads ..
