A/C Clutch and Pulley Removal With Comp. Still In Car? 200 1986

Boy, you sure can tell that the temp is rising with all of these A/C posts!! The clutch on my compressor still turns but the pulleys are frozen. This leads me to believe that the compressor is still good but the pulley bearings are frozen. Is this a correct assumption?

I removed the air filter box yesterday to look at the clutch. Has anyone removed the clutch and pulleys without removing the compressor? Just curious.

Thanks,
Erich Elmer
